Your AI reads and writes your notes
Claude, Codex or any other MCP client reads and writes the notes you keep in the cloud, from wherever it works. It lists them, searches them, appends to them, moves them and reads their history.
Leave a comment on a paragraph. Your AI reads the open ones, makes each change and closes it with a reply.
Connect it in three steps
- Sign in, open Settings > AI (MCP) and create a token.
- Press "Copy instructions for your AI". The message carries the address, the token and how to write here.
- Paste it into your AI.
The endpoint is https://sync.sharpmd.app/mcp, over Streamable HTTP, with the token as a bearer header. There is no server to set up.
It documents the project
Those instructions ask your AI to read the notes of the project before a task and to update them when it changes something. It keeps them in one folder: README.md, architecture.md, features/, epics.md, decisions.md and log.md.
The next session starts from there, whichever AI it is.
It keeps a task board
The same instructions set it up to keep a kanban board in board.md, one card per task. It creates the board, adds cards, moves them between columns and updates them. Moving a card to the done column marks it as done.
You see that board in the note as columns with cards you drag.
You decide how far it reaches
Your AI only sees the notes you keep in the cloud. Limit a token to a folder and nothing outside it can be read or written. Sharing is a separate permission, off unless you turn it on.
The cloud is encrypted, and password-protected folders are end-to-end encrypted. Your AI gets into one of those only while you unlock it, for the time you set.
Free over 10 notes
The free plan has 10 notes in the cloud and the MCP connection over those notes, with the comments your AI resolves. The paid plan has unlimited cloud notes. The editor is free and open source, and it asks for no account to write.
